Licences

Approve or decline seat requests from members, freeing a seat from someone else when you're at the cap.

Admin → Licences is the seat-request inbox. A licensed seat is what lets a member make changes — place cues, annotate, edit. When an unlicensed member needs a seat, their request lands here for an admin to grant or deny.

Granting a seat

If the organisation has a free seat, granting is one click and the member can work straight away. If you're at the licensed-seat cap, granting needs a seat freed first: the page asks you to pick a currently licensed member to revoke, and grants the requester the seat that frees up in the same step. Plans with unlimited seats skip the revoke picker entirely.

Denying a request

Deny turns the request down without changing anyone's seat. It's the right call when the request isn't justified yet or you'd rather raise the seat limit on the billing page instead of shuffling seats around.

Where seats come from

The number of licensed seats is set by your plan. If requests keep outpacing your seats, the fix is usually a plan change rather than constant revoking — upgrading raises the cap and the prorated charge is shown before you confirm.
