Find & replace cues
Rename cue numbers or labels in bulk on the Cues tab — preview every change before it lands.
When a renumber or a relabel sweeps the whole cue list — "LX" becomes "EL", a scene's cues all shift — the Cues tab has an inline find/replace that shows you every change before you commit it.
Opening it
Click Find / Replace above the cue table, or press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+F. The section opens in place above the table and stays open while you work — selecting cues or applying a replace doesn't close it, so repeated passes keep their muscle memory.
Scope and matching
- Scope — match cue numbers, labels, or both.
- Regex — treat the find term as a regular expression. A bad pattern surfaces a friendly error rather than misfiring.
- Case-sensitive — off by default; tick it when case matters.
Preview, then apply
As you type, the panel lists exactly the cues that would change, with their current and proposed values. Nothing is written until you apply, and only cues whose value actually differs are touched. The change is a normal edit — undo it like any other.
